Art Gave, and Art Hath Taken Away

Artistry
baptized me
in the rich soot
of my arched foot
Point, flex the muscles
of my soul are strong
and sacred and succulent and
sometimes salient
or esoteric
but always struck by seduction
and the sensuality of perpetual motion
of the mind
